Spring 2010
The community garden behind the Junior High School. Completely overgrown with lots of quack grass, and an apple tree, willow and wide sheets of sandpaper from the mill for weed suppression imbedded. A shed, running water; fenced on 3 sides, grassy area made it a great location. Lots of sun too.
Katimavik volunteers help start the cleanup, digging up quack grass roots by hand!
The second Friday- there has been good progress.
